MY TUNNEL

People often mention the light at the end of the tunnel, they never mention the experience in the tunnel.  I want to tell you about my tunnel and how it will help you.  My name is UMUNADI OGHENETEGA. And Oghenetega means God is worthy of Praises. I nearly wasn't believing that statement anymore cause I saw a lot.  From my childhood, I have always felt special and lucky for me I knew God from a very young age but, there were molehills that were always there and things were just upside down most of the time. I wrote my WAEC in 2016 but due to a complication, I didn't make Mathematics which came out as E8. I decided to take again, Meanwhile I was putting in for JAMB at the time and things were rough from that end, so year 2016 was a flop. 2017 was another year with promises, I nearly had complications with WAEC Mathematics again and this time just me, it showed OUTSTANDING. The result was later released. I equally made my JAMB (244) so I put in for LASU, Computer Scien...

GRACE AND CHANGE

Bible in a Year: 1 Kings 19–20 Luke 23:1–25 Moses was afraid and thought, “What I did must have become known.” Exodus 2:14 Today's Scripture & Insight : Exodus 2:11–15 The crime was shocking, and the man who committed it was sentenced to life in prison. In the years that followed, the man—in solitary confinement—began a process of mental and spiritual healing. It led to repentance and a restored relationship with Jesus. These days he’s been allowed limited interactions with other inmates. And, by God’s grace, through his witness some fellow prisoners have received Christ as Savior—finding forgiveness in Him. Moses, though now recognized as a great man of faith, also committed a shocking crime. After he witnessed “an Egyptian beating a Hebrew,” he looked “this way and that” and “killed the Egyptian” (Exodus 2:11–12). Despite this sin, God in His grace wasn’t done with His imperfect servant. Later, He chose Moses to free His people from their oppression (3:10). In Romans 5:14, we...

LIFE EVERLASTING

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3 Today's Scripture & Insight: John 17:3–12 “Don’t be afraid of death, Winnie,” said Angus Tuck, “be afraid of the unlived life.” That quote from the book-turned-film Tuck Everlasting is made more interesting by the fact that it comes from a character who can’t die. In the story, the Tuck family has become immortal. Young Jesse Tuck, who falls in love with Winnie, begs her to seek immortality too so they can be together forever. But wise Angus understands that simply enduring forever doesn’t bring fulfillment. Our culture tells us that if we could be healthy, young, and energetic forever, we would be truly happy. But that’s not where our fulfillment is found. Before He went to the cross, Jesus prayed for His disciples and for future believers. He said, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3)....
