BEHOLD I WILL DO A NEW THING!

The just concluded month has been very challenging for many and for some it has been from one testimony to another. Brethren, irrespective of what you passed through in the month of April , the Lord is assuring you by His word that “ Behold I Will Do A New Thing “ in the month of May that all men will celebrate the God you serve with you .  In this write up , we will be focusing on three main words from the bible text and each word will be used to explain few things as we go on together.   1. REMEMBER NOT / FORGET    In preparation for a New Thing , you will need to “Remember not” the past struggles, silent frustrations and failures you experienced in the previous year . * Remember not could also mean to Disregard or loose memory of all the unpleasant situations and ridicule you encountered in the month of April. LAUGH OUT LOUD!

1 Kings 3–5 Luke 20:1–26 God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me. Genesis 21:6 Today's Scripture & Insight: Genesis 21:1–7 Comedian John Branyan said, “We didn’t think up laughter; that wasn’t our idea. That was given to us by [God who] knew we were going to need it to get through life. Laughter is a gift.” A quick look at the creatures God made can bring laughter, whether because of their oddities (such as duck-billed platypuses) or antics (such as playful otters). He made mammals that live in he ocean and long-legged birds that can’t fly. God clearly has a sense of humor; and because we’re created in His image, we too have the joy of laughter. THE REBOOT OF GRACE

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22–23 Today's Scripture & Insight: Lamentations 3:16–33 Over the last several decades, a new word has entered our movie vocabulary: reboot. In cinematic parlance, a reboot takes an old story and jumpstarts it. Some reboots retell a familiar tale, like a superhero story or a fairytale. Other reboots take a lesser-known story and retell it in a new way. But in each case, a reboot is a bit like a do-over. It’s a fresh start, a chance to breathe new life into the old. There’s another story that involves reboots—the gospel story. In it, Jesus invites us to His offer of forgiveness, as well as abundant and eternal life (John 10:10). THE TELLING ROOM

Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. 1 Samuel 18:3 Today's Scripture & Insight: 1 Samuel 18:1–4 Northern Spain produced a beautiful way of expressing communion and friendship. With the countryside full of handmade caves, after each harvest some farmers would sit in a room built above a cave and inventory their various foods. As time passed, the room became known as the “telling room”—a place of communion where friends and families would gather to share their stories, secrets, and dreams. If you needed the intimate company of safe friends, you would head for the telling room. Had they lived in northern Spain, the deep friendship shared by Jonathan and David might have led them to create a telling room. THE JOY OF HEAVEN

“There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” Revelations 21:4 NIV Sometimes we describe dying as “crossing the Jordan.” That’s because the Jordan River runs into the Dead Sea. The story is told of an elderly Christian lady who was dying. For most of her life, illness had confined her to bed or a wheelchair. The family gathered to say farewell. Holding her hand, one of her grandchildren asked, “Are you afraid to die?” With tears of joy, she replied, “No, I’m not afraid of death because my Father owns the land on both sides of the river.” What an answer! In heaven there will be no sickness or depression or pain or loneliness or fear or grief or any of the things that make life on earth so difficult. God’s Word says, “For you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings” (Malachi 4:2 NRS). HE PICKED ME UP AGAIN

This story is a true story of mine and i want to use it as an encouragement for someone who will be reading it. I am a worker for God and i love Him. He has always been there for me. I started working for Him, i was enjoying FELLOWSHIP with God. I was growing in the pirit but there were things that seemed difficult to be put to death. I tried wiyh all my might and when it seems like i am overcoming, i get weakened. Few weeks ago. I was warned about something i have been doing wrong for some time. I deliberately ignored and continued, HIS SPIRIT LEFT! I felt empty. I started praying, fasting. Nothing changed! After few days at the verge of losing hope that He loves me. He picked me up again. In my weakness i suddenly found strength again but "the flesh lusts after the spirit..." Slowly i was looking the other direction again. God sent someone to STERNLY WARN ME. The warning God gives could come a million times but if it stops, you need Grace to be seen again. God is warni...

PREVAILING PRAYER FOR TODAY

The Almighty God shall answer your prayers, wipe away your tears, and give you your heart desires. Your small efforts will yeild multiple results for your joy to be fulfilled. Life is not by grade but by grace, not by labour, but by favour, *I declare* unto you and your family this weekend, May the Lord God be gracious unto you and family in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
